Scholar All-Region Team (PDF)

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College's Jasper Yang '21 added yet another award to his list of successes this season by being named to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-North/Central Region Team.

Yang was named to the second team at a forward spot, adding to his resume that includes Academic All-America®, Academic All-Region, All-Region and All-Midwest Conference Conference honors.
  
Yang, a biology major who boasts a 3.91 cumulative grade point average, has established himself as one of the top men's soccer players in program history. 
 
He led the league in goals scored this season with 12 and ranked among the top 50 nationally in both goals per game (0.71) and points per game (1.76). His goal total is 10th best for a season in program history, while the 30 points rank eighth. Additionally, Yang fired off 37 shots on goal, which is second best at Grinnell. With a season yet to play, Yang ranks fourth in Pioneer history in shots on goal (82), seventh in goals (28) and ninth in points (65).
