NORTHFIELD, Minn. – For more than a half, Grinnell College's women's soccer team stymied Carleton College's offensive attack.
However, the Knights broke a scoreless tie in the 47
th minute and added two more goals later to pull out a 3-0 victory over the Pioneers in non-conference action Saturday.
The contest saw 26 Grinnell players see action as the Pioneers head right back into action Sunday with a home test against the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Ali Nadalsky '25 came off the bench and had two of Grinnell's shots, while
Antarah Chopra '23 and
Julia Sheehan-Klenk '23 had one each.
Elinor Arneson '23 worked all but nine minutes of the game at keeper, making nine saves.
Hannah Malicky '22 finished off the contest and had three saves.
Grinnell will take a 1-2 mark into Sunday's game against the Titans at Springer Field. Kickoff is at 2 p.m. Carleton improved to 2-0-2.
