GRINNELL, Iowa – For the second day in a row, the Grinnell College men's tennis team came away with an 8-1 victory at the Bear Center Field House.
This time the opponent was Northwestern College (Iowa) as the Pioneers were highlighted by a singles sweep on Saturday. Winners, in order, were
Karch Knoll '25 (6-0, 6-0),
Lucas Willett '26 (6-3, 6-1),
Aiden Klass '25 (3-6, 6-1, 1-0),
Deuce Daniel '26 (6-4, 6-0),
Spencer Skidmore '24 (6-0, 6-1) and
Charles Yung '24 (6-2, 6-0).
The Pioneers also got doubles wins from the Nos. 2 and 3 duos of Knoll-Willett (8-4) and
Simon Kennel '23-
Luka Shaker-Check '25 (8-7).
Grinnell, 5-4 on the season, entertains Central College next Saturday.
