GRINNELL, Iowa - Sophia Carroll '25 has been named the Midwest Conference Women's Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week, the third Pioneers to earn the honor this season.
 
Carroll, from San Antonio, Texas (Alamo Heights), won an event and placed second in three others behind swimmers from Augustana College in a meet Saturday. She was on the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished in 1 minute, 44.91 seconds and was runner-up in the 200 freestyle (2:01.23), 500 freestyle (5:32.39) and as part of the Pioneers' 400 freestyle relay squad (3:47.97).
