Grinnell divers come up with strong performances on opening day of home meet

GRINNELL, Iowa - Three Grinnell College women's divers took advantage of the home pool by posting strong performances at the Grinnell Diving Invite Saturday at Russell K. Osgood Pool.

Alex Kruse '29 scored 356.00 on the 3-meter board to place third in the event, Bella Nesbeth '26 was sixth with a score of 297.45 and Jane Markovitz '26 tallied a 243.10 to finish seventh.

The champ was Shanze Karimi of Washington University-St. Louis with a score of 452.65.

The meet continues Sunday with the women's 1-meter event at 9 a.m.
