GRINNELL, Iowa – In a season in which the Grinnell College women's swimming and diving team won another Midwest Conference title, the Pioneers also took aim at the record book.
 
In all, Grinnell finished the 2024-25 campaign with nine new school records. Three swimmers had a hand in the new individual marks. They included Camryn Gonzales '25 (50-yard freestyle), Sophia Carroll '25 (100 and 200 freestyles) and Sarah Lopez '26 (100 and 200 butterfly).
 
Gonzales, Carroll, Sophie Juethner '26 and Ciara Vogler '26 set a new record in the 200 freestyle relay, while Carroll, Gonzales, Vogler and Samantha Cook '27 established a mark in the 400 freestyle. Members of the record-breaking 800 freestyle relay team were Carroll, Lopez, Molly Ryan '27 and Cook. Lopez, Bella Takata '28, Gonzales and Carroll teamed up for a record in the 400 medley relay.
