GRINNELL, Iowa - The beat goes on for the Grinnell College men's tennis team.

The Pioneers claimed their 22nd Midwest Conference title in a row Sunday at 10th Avenue Courts, racing past Cornell College 7-0. That streak is the longest in the conference by any team in any sport. Monmouth College's men's track and field team won 21 straight indoor titles from 2000 to 2020.
Grinnell has won 202 consecutive matches against league foes, dating back to 2002-03, and has posted shutouts against 44 of its last 52 MWC opponents.
Grinnell, ranked 20th nationally and winner of 28 MWC titles overall, finished league play at 6-0 while moving to 17-5 in all matches. The Pioneers wrapped up the top seed for this Friday's league team tourney, where they'll face fourth-seeded Illinois College in the semifinals.

Caden Branum '28 won by the same margin at No. 6. Willett won 6-1, 1-0, retired at No. 1, Murray rolled by his foe 6-3, 6-4 at No. 2,
Henry Park '28 was a 6-2, 6-0 victor at No. 3 and
Anshul Satav '27 earned a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 5.
Willett now owns 124 victories in his career, a figure that ranks 14th in program history.
