GRINNELL, Iowa - The accomplishments of Grinnell College's 2025-26 student-athletes were recognized Sunday night in the Harris Center at the school's GOAL ceremony organized by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Besides successes of all Pioneer teams, which include an unprecedented 11 conference titles this season (and potentially a few more next weekend), several individual student-athletes were also acknowledged.

First-Year Athlete of the Year Awards went to basketball player Ava Wu '29 (women's team sport), diver Alex Kruse '29 (women's individual sport), basketball player Tyler Copes '29 (men's team sport) and swimmer Evan Ingraham '29 (men's individual sport).

Senior Athlete of the Year Awards for women's sports went to Kavya Keshav '26 (golf), Hannah Roark '26 (cross country/track), Skylar Thomas '26 (basketball) and Keiko Smith '26 (soccer).

Collecting Senior Athlete of the Year Awards on the men's side were Lucas Willett '26 (tennis), Lucas Fadden (track), Connor Goodson '26 (baseball) and Zach Rosen '26 (basketball).

Other awards went to the women's soccer team (Spirit Award), women's basketball squad (Service and Outreach Award) and men's golf team (Biggest Win).

Also, Grinnell College's second-ever Chi Alpha Sigma class was presented.
