About the Pioneer Diversity Council

The Pioneer Diversity Council is an official registered student organization at Grinnell College. Its mission is to empower Pioneer athletes to meet the challenges associated with social, cultural, economic, and other forms of diversity. Additional functions of PDC include:

  1. Providing Pioneer athletes opportunities to strengthen their understanding of one another and the Grinnell College community;
  2. Represent Pioneer athletes’ concerns about diversity and provide feedback and insight into relevant department, campus, and community issues;
  3. Support, promote, and organize programs, events, and forums which encourage an inclusive environment and genuine interaction between diverse groups;
  4. Build partnerships with the Grinnell College campus community.

The Pioneer Diversity Council meets twice per month.  Contact us at pioneerdiversity@grinnell.edu.
