Background:
Born in Minneapolis to the parents of Ralph Lindell and Mona Selim, has one sibling Jack. 

High School:
Graduated from Edina High School in 2015. 

College:
2018: Midwest Conference champion in 200 breaststroke and 400 individual medley.
2017: Midwest Conference Swimmer of the Year … MWC champion in 100 breaststroke, 200 breaststroke and 400 IM … school record-holder in 100 breaststroke and 200 breaststroke.
