Personal:
Born in Evanston, Illinois… son of Mike and Kay Christensen… has a brother, Alex.

High School:
Graduated from Red Wing High School in 2011 where he lettered in cross-country three times, and once in track, tennis, and swimming… Max was a two time All-Conference runner in cross-country, voted Most Improved Runner, and was the chosen the most Outstanding Junior, and the most Outstanding Senior… his PR for the 5k was 16:50.

College:
2012: Academic All-Conference.
