Born 4/20/1993 in Santa Monica, Calif.… son of Joseph and Linda Charney… has a sister, Sara.

High School:
Graduated from South Pasadena High School in 2011, where he lettered four times for soccer and four times for tennis… Benjamin was Second Team All-League his freshman and sophomore years, First Team All-League and All-Area his senior year, Team MVP for tennis and soccer during his senior seasons, and was caption for both tennis and soccer his senior year… 23 goals in high school career, leading his team all four years.
