Parker Koester, a 2009 graduate of Grinnell College, is in his fourth season as a Pioneer assistant coach. He assists in all aspects of the program including day-to-day operations, practice and game plans, on the field coaching, and recruiting.
Additionally, Koester is the head varsity boys soccer coach at Grinnell High School.
Koester enjoyed a stellar playing career at Grinnell in which he played in 57 games and was a three-year captain. He is originally from Carmel, IN. Koester’s brother Justin ’10 also played for the Pioneer men’s soccer team and sister Rachael ’13 is a member of the Grinnell women’s squad.
He is currently working on his master’s degree in Educational Psychology at the University of Iowa and holds a teaching license in American History and Psychology for grades 6-12.
