Graduated from Northside College Prep, where he participated in soccer, track, and cross country … Was named soccer MVP, cross country state qualifier, track state qualifier, school record holder in the 1600 meters, and school record holder in the 4x800 relay … holds an 800 meter time of 2:00.54, 400 meter time of 52.50, 1600 meter time of 4:34.8 … aside from athletics, was a National Merit Scholar Finalist and Illinois State Scholar.
