Graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School, where he participated in soccer and was 2022 CIML Metro All-Conference first team, 2021 and 2022 CIML All-Academic team member, 2022 Lincoln High School Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year and 2021 CIML Metro All-Conference honorable mention … recorded 206 saves across three seasons, second in program history, and had a school-record 150 saves in a season … was 2019-22 varsity player, 2020-22 varsity starter and 2021-22 varsity captain … aside from athletics, had a 4.31 weighted GPA and 4.0 unweighted, won 2022 President’s Award for Educational Excellence, was Iowa Academic All-State and was in top three percent of class in GPA … was 2021 AP Scholar with Distinction, earned Academic letter from 201922 and graduated with Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
