After a successful run as a Pioneer swimmer, Callie Eyman-Vavrock '14 returns to the program as an assistant coach.
Eyman-Vavroch, a multiple Academic All-Conference selection, also was a top-eight Midwest Conference place winner five times in her career. That included runner-up finishes in the 200-yard freestyle relay in both 2013 and 2014 and a fourth-place finish in the 50 freestyle in 2013.
A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Eyman-Vavroch began winning at the age of 12 when she fell in love with the sport and continued through high school and college.Â
While at Grinnell, she double majored in Chemistry and Gender, Women's, and Sexuality Studies. She is in the process of applying to medical school.
