Born in Minnesota … son of Peter Knapp and Colleen O’Brien … has two siblings, Trevor Knapp and Skyler Knapp.

Attended Maple Grove Senior High, where he participated in swimming … was team captain and earned Hardest Worker Award … aside from athletics, was an AP Scholar with Honor, Eagle Scout and National Merit Scholar.
