Graduated from Scarborough High School, where he participated in swimming and cross country … won Southern Maine Athletic Association Swimming Scholarship and was a six-time Maine High School Swimming top eight finisher ... aside from athletics, was an AP Scholar with Honor, named to the Southern Maine Athletic Association All-Academic Team, was a National Latin Exam Silver medalist and Academic Decathlon Team State gold medalist.
