Graduated from Monterey Trail High School, where he participated in football, track and field, rugby, wrestling and basketball … was 2021 Athlete-Scholar of the Year for Monterey Trail High School, first-team All-Metro League on defense in football in 2021 and second-team in 2020, second-place wrestling Metro League champion in 2020 and Mustang Award winner in 2017-18 and 2018-19 … had 17 tackles, including 11 solos, two sacks and a fumble recovery in five games in 2021 … had 45 tackles, including 22 solos, one pass break-up, two fumble recoveries, one sack and five tackles for loss in 2019 … had 11 rushing touchdowns on 82 attempts for 527 yards and a 6.43 yard per rush average in 2018 along with 22 tackles, including eight solos, a sack, two tackles for loss and one interception … had 120 tackles, including 100 solos, three sacks, a fumble recovery, 20 tackles for loss and one rushing touchdown in 2017 … aside from athletics, was a member of the Honor Roll with Distinction as well as Valedictorian and Salutatorian … had perfect attendance, member of the Design and Technology Academy (DATA) and took AP/IB/Honors classes.
