Graduated from Geneva High School and played softball … was varsity team captain and Academic All-Conference three years … aside from athletics, was in top 5 percent of her class and member of National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and National English Honor Society and earned Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
