Born in Olathe, Kansas to Leanna and Scott Murphy. She has one sibling, Kailee. 

High School: 
She was a National Honor Society Member and graduated 10th in her class. In athletics, she was named to the All City team in '13, the All District 1st team in '13 and '14, then was named to the All Conference 1st team in '14. She told an All Time Batting Average of .415.

College:
2018: NFCA Scholar-Athlete … Academic All-Conference.
2017: All-Midwest Conference First Team.
