Born in Chicago, IL to the parents of Laura Brown and Mike Hayes. She graduated from Von Steuben High School in 2016. 

High School: 
She graduated as a member of National Honor Society, was named an Illinois State Scholar, and graduated as a member of the Von Steuben Scholar's Program and with High Honors.
