Born in Joliet, Ill. … daughter of Tim and Joele Durak … has two siblings, Danielle and Joe Durak.

Graduated from Joliet West High school, where she participated in softball and volleyball … won SPC All-Academic Athletic Award and Township Coaches “Tom Calhoun Memorial Award,” named to 2019 WJOL Softball All-Tournament Team and named second-team All-Area … had 43 hits, 25 RBIs, 13 doubles, six home runs and hit .364 as a junior while playing for third-place team in the state … aside from athletics, was Summa Cum Laude, won the President’s Education Award, named Illinois State Scholar, won the SPC Academic Activity Award for Math, was in the top 25 in her class as a senior and member of National Honor Society.
