Born in Delta, Colo. … daughter of Dan and Stacie Schaefer.
High School:
Graduated from Shining Mountain Waldorf School, where she participated in cross country and track and field. Was Class 1A 1600- and 3200-meter state champion in 2017 and 2018, member of the Class 1A track and field state championship team in 2018, cross country and track and field All-State in 2017 and 2018, set Class 1A state and school record in 4x800 relay in 2015. Personal best times are 19:33 in the 5 kilometer, 11:56 in the 3200, 5:29 in the 1600 and 2:27 in the 800.
College:
2022: Midwest Conference champion in indoor and outdoor 5000-meter run.
