Hayley Wirth was named assistant coach for the Grinnell College women's soccer team in July 2018.
Wirth was a soccer standout at Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass., where she graduated in 2016 with a degree in business management and specialization in marketing. She went on to earn her master's degree in sports leadership from Northeastern University.
While completing her master's, Wirth served as office manager of the Northeast Soccer League and assistant coach of the Rush Soccer Club. Additionally, she spent two seasons as assistant women's soccer coach at Pine Manor College in Massachusetts.
At Lesley, Wirth was named Female Student Athlete of the Year in 2016 and nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year. She was a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Region and New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) second-team pick, Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England All-Star second-teamer and a three-time New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) first-teamer. Additionally, she was the league's championship tournament MVP twice.
