Grinnell College Athletics

Liza Van Zyl has joined Grinnell College as the assistant women’s soccer coach.
 
Van Zyl, a former goal keeper at Drake University who is originally from Independence, Mo., also played for the Sporting Iowa Soccer Club. As a prep at Fort Dodge High School, she was a four-year starter and three-year team captain.
 
Van Zyl coaching stops include Vision Soccer Academy, Sporting Iowa Soccer Club and Nemesis Goalkeeping.
