Nicole Sipfle

Nicole Sipfle graduated from Grinnell College in 2013, majoring in Biological Chemistry, where she played soccer all four years. She was awarded multiple Midwest Conference All-conference awards, the Grace Mcllrath Parker Award,

Grinnell College female senior athlete of the year, NSCAA All-Region second team and nominated as MVP her sophomore, junior, and senior years. She also served as captain of the Grinnell women’s soccer team her junior and senior year.
Sipfle also participated in one season of indoor track as a thrower and joined the Grinnell College Ultimate team her senior year.

Sipfle holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) national “E” license. Her first coaching experience was with Midwest-United FC while in college, coaching a local U11-U13 girls team with teammate Kathryn Vincent for two years. She has since worked with Vision Soccer Academy in Waukee, Iowa, where she served as the team coach for a U11 girls team and helped with multiple clinics for ages ranging from 3-10 years old. During a 1-2 year stint in Portland, Ore., she worked at SoccerPlex SportsCenter where she also coached youth soccer programs.

Currently, Sipfle is a third-year medical student at Des Moines University. She is also a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force and will serve as a physician in the military following her graduation from medical school.

She lives in Des Moines with her partner and her cat, Nimbus.
