Grinnell native Addyson Petig joined Grinnell College as assistant coach for volleyball in August 2026.
After graduating from Grinnell High School, Petig attended Drake University in Des Moines and earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s in leadership development with a focus on mindfulness in sports.
She played high school and club volleyball growing up in Grinnell and then two years of club ball at Drake. Petig coached AAU for three seasons and is currently coaching USAV with the Iowa Juniors in Ankeny. She also has served as tournament director for AAU events and coached at camps, private lessons and beach volleyball.
