Born in Minneapolis … daughter of Michelle and Matthew Welch … has one sibling, Ryan Welch.
High School:
Graduated from Washburn High School, where she participated in volleyball. Earned Most Improved Award and All-Conference honors in 2017. Had most assists in 2016 and 2017 and earned Most Reliable Server Award with a 98 percent success rate in 2017. Had 622 assists as a junior and 680 as a senior, ranking in the top 10 in the state of Minnesota both years … aside from athletics, was on the Honor Roll, was an IB Diploma candidate and recipient and National Honor Society member.
College:
2019: Academic All-Conference.
