The Grinnell College athletic training staff has welcomed a new addition with the hire of Mike Jones as a third athletic trainer.
Jones most recently served as head athletic trainer at Marshalltown Community College and the Meskwaki Settlement Schools. A 2011 graduate of Coe College with a bachelor's degree in athletic training, he gained his master's degree in Occupational Safety and Health from Waldorf University in 2013.
Jones served as ATC for Central Spring High School from 2013-15 and Forest City High School from 2015-17. During that time, he also worked with the North Iowa Bulls hockey team, which won two NA3HL national titles in that span.
