Grinnell College's Luke Yeager ’15 has been named the Midwest Conference Men's Basketball Performer of the Week.
Yeager, a 6-1, 180-pound guard from Westport, Conn. (Staples), had a pair of huge performances as the Pioneers posted two key MWC wins during the week. He was 9-of-13 from the field and scored a game-high 25 points in a 113-74 victory over Illinois College on Tuesday.
Yeager followed that up with a team-high 31 points with the aid of 10-of-13 shooting from the field, including a 4-of-4 performance from 3-point land, as the Pioneers posted their first win at Ripon College since the 2008-09 season. Grinnell won the game 117-108.
