Grinnell College Athletics

Grinnell College’s John Lennon ’19 has been named the Midwest Conference Men’s Cross Country Performer of the Week.
 
Lennon, from Riverside, Ill. (Saint Ignatius College Prep), ran a personal-best time on a very challenging course at the pre-regional Carleton College meet Saturday. He finished 11^th in a very talented field of 244 runners with a clocking of 26:21.5.
 His efforts helped Grinnell to a fourth-place finish among 14 teams.
