Cara Bresnahan ’19, from La Grange Park, Ill. (Lyons Township), destroyed Grinnell’s school record in the javelin at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic at Daytona Beach, Fla. She placed first among score-eligible athletes in the 19-thrower field with a toss of 120-3/4. That beats the previous Pioneer best of 115-5 by nearly five feet.
