Shannon Young ’17, from Colorado Springs, Colo. (Coronado), set a school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase at the Kip Janvrin Invitational in Indianola Friday. Young toured the track in a MWC-leading time of 11:21.80, shattering the school mark by more than 3 seconds as she placed third of 22 runners in the race.
