Grinnell College's Allison Cottrell '21 made the most of the home oval Saturday, winning the women's mile run at the Grinnell Invitational at the Bear Center Field House.

Cottrell outdid 17 other runners with a clocking of 5:36.23, beating the runner-up by more than 10 seconds.
