Grinnell College Athletics

After helping Grinnell College to a 6-3 win over nationally-ranked Carleton College, Ishaan Tibrewal ’21 has been named Midwest Conference Men’s Tennis Performer of the Week.
 
Tibrewal, from Kolkata, India (Saint Xaviers Collegiate School), teamed with Adam Burke ’23 to win a hard-fought 8-7 doubles decision against the No. 38 Knights and then earned the clinching win with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in singles.
 
Tibrewal is 5-2 in singles this season and owns a 5-0 mark with Burke in doubles. As a team, Grinnell is off to a 5-1 start.
