Nicole Ware ’25, a 5-5 guard from Long Grove, Ill. (Adlai E. Stevenson), had a huge week while leading the Pioneers to two MWC wins. She tied a MWC record for 3-point accuracy, going a perfect 5-of-5 from beyond the arc in a 72-61 victory over Lawrence University. Ware tallied a career-high 21 points while also grabbing three boards and three steals. Earlier in the week, Ware had nine points, four steals, three rebounds and three assists in a 58-57 win over Knox College. She grabbed a key rebound of a Knox layup with 15 seconds remaining, was fouled and made both free throw shots to help secure the victory.
