Kevin Ftizgerald '25 was named Midwest Conference Men's Swimmer of the Year. Fitzgerald won three events, taking first in the 200-yard backstroke, 500 freestyle and as part of the 200 medley relay team. His time of 1:48.09 in the backstroke was not only an NCAA "B" cut but also bettered the clocking that was selected for the 2019 NCAA Championships. Fitzgerald won the freestyle in 4:32.43, an NCAA "B" cut, and the medley relay team won in a meet-record time of 1:32.36. Fitzgerald was also a four-time runner-up.
