Grinnell College's Ben Harvey '22 has been named Midwest Conference Men's Track Performer of the Week.

Harvey, from Elk River, Minn. (Spectrum), recorded a MWC-best time in the 1500-meter run at the Simpson College Kip Janvrin Invite on Friday. His clocking of 4 minutes, 4.87 seconds leads the next-best MWC runner by more than a second.

Harvey also contributed a leg to the Pioneers' distance medley relay squad that ran 10:33.67 at the Drake Relays in Des Moines Saturday. That time is seventh-best in Grinnell history.
