Grinnell College's Adam Khater '23 has been named the Midwest Conference Football Defensive Performer of the Week.
 
Khater, a linebacker from Lake Forest, Ill. (Lake Forest), had a huge game as Grinnell knocked off Beloit College 28-20 Saturday. He recorded nine tackles, including eight solos and two for loss, and also had a forced fumble.
 
The win put Grinnell at 2-1, the first time since 2010 the Pioneers have been over the .500 winning percentage mark this far into a season. Khater is Grinnell's second Performer of the Week this season, following Grayson Woodhouse's '24 selection on the offensive side of the ball two weeks ago.
