David Ternes ’15, of Oakley, Calif. (Freedom), had a dominating defensive effort in the Grinnell College football team’s overtime loss to Ripon College.

Ternes recorded 21 tackles, which ranks fifth in Pioneer history, and also recovered a fumble.

The All-Midwest Conference and All-Region performer leads the Midwest Conference in tackles this season with 74 and is tied for the lead in fumble recoveries.
