Born in Oakley, Calif. … son of Korinne and Toney Ternes … has four siblings, Zack, Ragean, Jason, and Ty

High School:
Graduated from Freedom High in 2011, where he lettered in football for both his junior and senior years … was elected 1st Team All League his senior and junior year, and chosen the Defensive MVP of the league his senior year … recorded 110 tackles during his junior year, and 146 tackles in his senior season… besides athletics he was on the Principal’s Honor Roll, and was Rotary Student of the Quarter.
