Michael Brus ’14, from Davenport, Iowa (North), was named Midwest Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week recently.

Brus won a pair of events in the Pioneers’ dual meet with Connecticut College, the eighth-ranked team in the nation, at Naples, Fla. He claimed top honors in the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.94 and 500 freestyle in 4:46.99. He currently has the top time in the MWC in the latter.

The defending national 200 backstroke champion also competed on the 200 freestyle relay team that had a time of 1:31.14.
