Jordan Young ’14, from Maplewood, Minn. (North), broke the Grinnell school record in the javelin at the Cornell College Invitational. She had a runner-up toss of 115-4 to shatter Katie Colver’s record of 111-1 set in 2009. Young added a third-place finish in the shot put (38-7) and took eighth in the discus (108-8). Young’s javelin and shot put performances currently rank third in the league.
