PDC's 6-on-6 Basketball Flyer

GRINNELL, Iowa – The Pioneer Diversity Council will celebrate Women's History Month with a pair of 6-on-6 basketball events this week.

On Thursday, March 7, the video “More than a Game: 6-on-6 Basketball in Iowa” will be shown at 7 p.m. in Room 209 of the Joe Rosenfield '25 Center. This one-hour video, originally shown on Iowa Public Television, takes a look back at girls' 6-on-6 basketball and what it meant to generations of young women who played it. It is open and free to the public.

Then on Saturday, March 9, a 6-on-6 tournament will be contested in Darby Gymnasium.
Students, faculty, staff and Grinnell community members are invited to compete in the event.

Teams are to be of six to eight players, or submit yourself individually and you will be placed on a team. Males are welcome to play as well, but only two males per team may be on the court at the same time.
