Coe swept all six singles matches except at No. 6, where

Colin Johnson '13 and
Tracy Johnson '16 just missed victory, falling 9-8.
"Despite the decisive loss on the scoreboard, our match scores against the No. 9 team
in the region shows we are competitive at a good level," said Grinnell coach
Andy Hamilton. "We have work to do in the next three weeks and matches like today's against Coe highlight some areas for us to focus on. Our challenge will be to continue developing because I still think our team has not shown its best tennis yet."
