URBANDALE, Iowa – Unbeaten Carleton College worked past the Grinnell College men's tennis team 8-1 Saturday.
 
Grinnell's win was a 6-2, 7-6 decision at No. 5 singles by Tracy Johnson '16.
 
Cole Miller '17 took his opponent to three sets at No. 3 singles, while the doubles teams of Elliott Czarnecki '15-Tommy Pitcher '17 and Emilio Gomez '15-Johnson played their foes to 9-7 scores.
 
Grinnell, 2-3, will play as a split squad next weekend. One team will play at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and the other at home.
