CLAREMONT, Calif. – Grinnell College dropped a 10-1 softball decision to Pomona-Pitzer on Friday.
The Pioneers fell behind 8-0 before scoring in the fourth inning when
Lydia Stariha '17 singled, took second on
Sage Juveland's '17 sacrifice and moved to third on the throw, and crossed the plate on
Andi Leff's flyout to right field.
Melissa Anderson and
Maggie Remus both pitched for the Pioneers.
Grinnell, 0-5, is slated to meet Hamline in a twin bill on Saturday.
