GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College lost a 2-0 decision to Hamline University in a non-conference men's soccer contest Saturday afternoon at Springer Field.
 
The 4-1 Pipers scored one goal in each half for the victory.
 
Grinnell, 1-3, had three shots – one each by Carlos Piedrasanta '20, Nick Brule '17 and Josh Lavin '17.
 
Keeper Jared Cloutier '20, drawing his first career start, recorded six saves in 90 minutes of work.
 
The Pioneers play at Buena Vista University on Sunday.
