DE PERE, Wis. – Grinnell College's men's soccer team claimed the shots battle against regionally-ranked St. Norbert College, but the Green Knights came away with a 2-0 victory Saturday.
 
St. Norbert, winners of eight games in a row, led 1-0 at intermission despite being outshot 9-7 in the game.
 
Mikoto Kobayashi '20 took three shots for Grinnell, Artis Curiskis '18 two and one each by Antonio DiMarco '18, Evan Sorenson '19, Jasper Yang '21 and Matt Record '20.
 
Jared Cloutier '20 recorded three saves at keeper for the Pioneers, who are 3-3 in the Midwest Conference and 5-8-1 overall.
 
Grinnell plays at Lawrence University Sunday, beginning at 3:30 p.m.
